ADEK MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS

ADEK Technical Sales, Inc. warrants products manufactured by ADEK to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2-years from date of purchase (1st year includes parts and labor, 2nd year, parts only. If a product proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, ADEK will, at its sole option, repair or replace the product with a similar product. Replacement product may include remanufactured or refurbished parts of components.

Obtaining Service:
For repair service for products manufactured by ADEK, please obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by calling ADEK Technical Sales, Inc. at 603-889-1984. If you already have an RMA form, simply fax it to 603-889-1343.

To obtain warranty service, you must provide the following:

  • Original dated invoice provided at the time of purchase
  • Your name, address and telephone number
  • The serial number of the product
  • A description of the problem

Take or ship the product prepaid in the original or comparable container to:

Please be sure to pack your system carefully. We will not be responsible for damage received during shipping.

This warranty does not cover the following:

  1. Any product on which the serial number has been defaced/modified

  2. Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
  • Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product
  • Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by ADEK
  • Any damage of the product due to shipment
  • Causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Products used in environments subject to extreme dust, moisture, heat, cold, and other contaminants
  • Any other cause that does not relate to product defect

Limitation of Implied Warranties
There are no warranties, expressed or implied, which extend beyond the description contained herein including the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Exclusion of Damages
ADEK’s liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the product. ADEK Technical Sales, Inc. shall not be liable for:

  1. Damage to other property caused by any defects in the product, damages based upon inconvenience, loss of use of the product, loss of time, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, interference with business relationships, or other commercial loss, even if advised of their possibility of such damages

  2. Any other damages whether incidental, consequential or otherwise.

  3. Any claim against the customer by any other party.

NON-ADEK MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS
Products sold by ADEK, but produced by other manufacturers will be replaced by ADEK for a period of 30-days from date of purchase. These products include monitors, printers, scanners and other computer peripherals manufactured by companies including Viewsonic, Acer, Hewlett-Packard, Epson, Welch Allyn, and others.

Obtaining Non-ADEK Manufactured Product Warranty Service

  1. If the non-ADEK manufactured product fails within the first 30-days of purchase from ADEK, please obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by calling ADEK at 603-889-1984.

  2. Take or ship the defective product prepaid in its original packaging to ADEK Technical Sales, Inc., 8 Rebel Road, Hudson, New Hampshire 03051. (Please pack the item carefully; ADEK is not responsible for further product damage received in shipping).

  3. To obtain warranty replacement, the following must be included:

    • The original dated invoice provided by ADEK at the time of purchase
    • Your name, address and telephone number
    • The serial number of the product
    • A description of the problem

As soon as the defective product is received by ADEK, a replacement product will be shipped prepaid to the customer.

If the non-ADEK manufactured product fails after the first 30-days, please contact the respective manufacturer for warranty service. In most cases, manufacturer warranty policies and procedures are included in the product’s original shipping carton.

REFUNDS
Refunds for non-custom-built products must be claimed within 30-days from the date of purchase. Products being returned for refund must be in “like new” condition, and not damaged by the customer or by the return shipper and must be returned in their original packaging along with all accessories, books, manuals, cables, software, etc. Our standard return procedure must be followed for all items being returned for refund.

Custom-built computers manufactured to customer specifications are not eligible for refund. Special orders for non-custom-built products, may, or may not, be eligible for refund, depending on specific circumstances.


RETURN PROCEDURE
Defective non-custom built product can be returned during the warranty period for replacement or repair. It must be accompanied by a Return Authorization Number (RMA), which can be obtained by calling our RMA department at 603-889-1984.

SHIPPING
Defective product should be returned to ADEK with FREIGHT PREPAID. Repaired or replaced product will be returned freight prepaid via UPS GROUND service.
